On day June 25th, 2019 in Brescia, is planned a meeting about “Leishmania. Up-dates and news”. The speakers will be Dr. Romanelli Federica from Ecuphar and Dr. Luigi Gradoni from the Canine Leishmaniasis Working Group.
The Veterinary Board of Brescia Province has supported the meeting.

Two members of CLWG will be participating to the 35th SCIVAC meeting in Rimini, Italy. Dr. Alessandra Fondati will be participating as an expert of dermatological problems in canine leishmaniosis, and Dr. Andrea Zatelli will be participating as an expert of renal involvement in canine leishmaniosis. The study subgroup of Nephrology and Leishmaniasis has been arranged. In this subgroup are included Dr. Andrea Zatelli and Dr. Xavier Roura as chairman. To this study subgroup have been invited Prof. Michael Day, Prof. Oscar Cortadellas and Dr. Silvia Benali and they accepted becoming honorary members of CLWG.
On day May 9th 2019 will be planned a meeting whose title is “Leishmania. In-depth and news” whose speaker is Dr. Romanelli Federica from Ecuphar.
On October 14th 2018 members of CLWG take part to the Interdisciplinary Seminar on Canine Leishmaniasis in Viareggio, Lucca, Italy. The presentation can be downloaded in pdf format from the section “DOWNLOAD” of this web page.
In the autumnal meeting of CLWG that has been held in Rome the last November 10th, 2023, the participation as effective member of CLWG of Prof. Domenico Otranto has been approved by the general assembly.
Prof. Otranto is a full professor of Parassitological Disease at the University of Bari, Department of Veterinary Medicine and diplomate of European Board of Veterinary Specialist in Parassitology.
After almost two years of scientific and continuing education del CLWG using remote connections, a scientific meeting of continuing education on site has been organized at Granozzo di Monticello, Novara whose title is “Canine leishmaniosis: old and new evidence. Let’s talk together”. To attend this meeting is necessary the registration. The planning of the meeting is organized with five presentations:
